Who we are
The controller of your data is Devs Arena, which runs Devs Arena, a sport shooting arena opening soon in Cluj-Napoca. For any question about your data, write to us at contact@devsarena.ro.
What we collect
When you subscribe to the newsletter we keep your email address, the language you used the site in, and the date and time you subscribed.
We don't keep your IP address. We only use it in the moment you send the form: to limit repeated attempts and so that Cloudflare can check you are human.
We don't ask for your name, phone number or anything else, and we don't create an account for you.
Why we use it
We use your email address only to send you news about the arena's opening, the training schedule, events, and the offers and discounts for subscribers. We keep the date and time you subscribed as proof that you asked to.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given through the form. You can withdraw it at any time, through the unsubscribe link in any email from us, without affecting anything that happened before.
How long we keep it
For as long as you are subscribed.
If you unsubscribe, we keep only your address and the date you unsubscribed, so we never email you again by mistake. On request we delete it entirely.
Who else sees it
We don't sell or rent your data. It is processed on our behalf only by the providers the site cannot work without: the company hosting the site and its database, the email provider we send messages through, and Cloudflare, whose Turnstile check makes sure the form is sent by a person, not a bot.
Visit statistics
We use Google Analytics, a service of Google Ireland Limited, to learn how many people visit the site, how they reach us (for example from a search engine or a social network) and which pages they read. We only look at totals, not at individual visitors, and we don't use them for advertising.
Google Analytics receives technical data about the visit: the pages viewed, the date and time, the type of device and browser, the language, the approximate city or country, and a random identifier kept in a cookie. It uses your IP address only to estimate the location and does not store it.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Romanian Law no. 506/2004), given by browsing the site after the cookie notice. If you would rather not be counted, you can block or delete cookies in your browser, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on from tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Google keeps this data for at most 14 months. It may also process it outside the European Economic Area, including in the US, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. How Google uses data is set out in its privacy policy, at policies.google.com/privacy.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format and to object to its processing. You can unsubscribe from any email we send; for everything else write to us at contact@devsarena.ro.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro).
